Our client is large privately held property group who specialise in property regeneration and development. They co-invest with equity investors to share in the financial rewards and satisfaction that can be derived from the strategic repositioning and development of property.

Issue

Our client’s values are integrity, community, authenticity, consistency, candour and respect. Central to how they operate is their commitment to excellence; yet their internal technology systems did not reflect their positioning in the market. EIM were appointed to identify an experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) on an interim basis to implement several projects. There was a large amount of ‘in flight’ work to be done and the CEO required a trusted confidant to work closely with the business and the leadership team to solve their issues.

Solution

EIM provided an experienced CIO on an interim basis for a minimum term of approximately six months. Rather than going to market for a long-term permanent appointment, this interim appointment would help drive the execution and delivery of all key tasks at hand. This individual started within 48 hours of engagement and was swiftly able to lead, coach and keep the team accountable in supporting the group’s strategy. The individual was quickly able to prioritise the functional and operational tasks and provide a number of cost and time efficiencies for the team. The Interim Manager focused on implementing significant change across the group which resulted in a net saving for the business.
